THE ANIMA II STORY
Anima II is about life, joy and the quickening of the pulse.
Six years ago, we purchased an original 1969 wooden Borrensen Dragon and began sailing in Dragon Regattas. A crafted boat with a beautiful line, challenging and complex, introduced us to a scene full of interesting people.
The wooden Dragon is a timeless beauty, but the world-renowned precision and style of Spirit Yachts captivated us. The lines of a Spirit Yacht are a signature of one of the few authentic wooden builders.
“ Anima II is unique and the platform FOR a wonderful journey. Every detail speaks for itself, has its own story, and was thoughtfully selected by my wife and myself. ” CHRISTIAN HENTSCHEL | OWNER
As we entered the Spirit Yacht shipyard for the first time, the heady scent of cedar and teak overwhelmed us, and we just knew. Seeing the masterpieces coming together piece by piece, worked on with utter precision that only time and dedication can produce, we were sold.
For us, building Anima II has been a journey of emotions, life experiences, dreams and fulfilment. Forged with irrepressible spirit and inspiration, we have created a magnificent yacht to share with others.
Together with the highly-skilled boatbuilders at Spirit, we have collaborated on a uniquely customized concept, manifesting our combined passions into a breathtaking creation of utter speed and beauty.
